What documents are required to cross the Moldova–Romania border in 2026?

You need a biometric passport of the Republic of Moldova (valid for at least 3 months after your travel date) or valid Romanian documents. The Diony Travel team can help you at the border, including with the new EU entry rules and the EES (Entry/Exit System).

The ticket price includes: 1 checked bag up to 20 kg and 1 carry-on. If you have more bags, you can pay for extra luggage when boarding, depending on available space on the coach.

Yes. Our Chișinău–Bucharest and Chișinău–Iași services include a mandatory stop for passengers at the departure/arrival terminals of Henri Coandă International Airport (Otopeni) and Iași International Airport.

If a minor travels with one parent and has a biometric MD passport, authorization from the other parent is not required. If the minor travels with another companion (e.g. grandparents), a notarized parental authorization is required.

No, printing is not required. It is enough to show the driver your e-ticket (PDF file or email confirmation) on your smartphone screen.

Yes, pets are allowed subject to conditions: pet passport, up-to-date vaccinations, transport in a carrier/crate, and purchase of an extra seat for the animal. Contact us before your trip for details.
